The Path of Life

The lotus represents the path of life as it emerges from the mud, grows clean and pure through the water, and produces a beautiful lotus flower.
It signifies that even the dirtiest water will not cling to the Lotus.

That the lotus flower can stand tall in the water can be attributed to the strength of the lotus stem—a powerful analogy to the strength of one’s beliefs.

The leaves of the lotus flower are resistant to water. Like water droplets that fall off the lotus leaf, the soul can be touched by material temptations but must remain untainted. And it is important, that existence be rooted in the world, in order to experience the reality of suffering. And thereby, do something about it.

The blooming of the lotus flower is also symbolic.
The flower, as a closed bloom, is like the human heart. When enlightened, it blossoms.

The lotus flower grows in muddy water and rises above the surface to bloom with remarkable beauty. At night the flower closes and sinks underwater, at dawn it rises and opens again. Untouched by the impurity, lotus symbolizes the purity of heart and mind. The lotus flower represents long life, health, honor and good luck.”

The lotus has its roots in earthly mud, but as it grows upward in aspiration toward the light, its petals open out in a beautiful flower.

Lotus was founded January 2007 during the Closed Beta Testing of the game Scions of Fate by players coming mostly from the South East Asian region. It has since expanded into four different games - 
- Perfect World (Dragon Server - currently Active)
- ZX Online (game closed)
- Battle of Immortals (Phoenix Server - currently Active)
- Legend of Martial Arts (currently Active)

and now we’re venturing into Forsaken World Philippines.

Regardless of your position in the guild, Lotus has established a name for itself by being a guild filled with good and fun people. We have earned respect from our different gaming realms:

by showing respect to others (even to our competitors). We place high value on honor in this guild, which means treating your mates with respect in-game and in our social networks. Your actions reflect upon the entire guild, and any misconduct or disrespect of fellow players will not be tolerated. We wanted to establish and maintain a  reputation for being a quality guild, full of helpful and active members who are an excellent addition to any group or party. Do your best to live up to these expectations.

Remember this: that guild tag over your head makes each of you a representative of Lotus. Act the way you want Lotus to be remembered.
